FW: TODAY'S GIGGLE

TODAYS GIGGLE

A blonde was weed-eating her yard and accidentally cut off the tail of her cat which was hiding in the grass.

She rushed her cat, along with the tail, over to WAL-MART!

Why WAL-MART??

HELLOOOOOOOOO!

WALMART is the largest re-tailer in the world!!!

(and here comes the most ridiculous part of the email - the bag of cats that says LOL.)

TO ALL MY 'NUTTY' FRIENDS....

Have a fabulous STRESS-FREE day!!!!

***

okay.

what.

I would say that this joke is 100% lame and unfunny, but the lameness is completely overshadowed by the ridiculous LOL bag o' cats. that, and the pause in the joke to yell "HELLLOOOOOO!" I think this one earns it's place in the Rotation of Jokes I Like To Tell Because I Know No One Will Like Them.

FW: My Duck Is Dead

My grandma enjoys corny jokes. She's also a volunteer nurse at the Laconia hospital. This joke is bizarre.

A woman brought a very limp duck into a veterinary surgeon. As she laid her pet on the table, the vet pulled out his stethoscope and listened to the bird's chest.

After a moment or two, the vet shook his head sadly and said, "I'm sorry, your duck, Cuddles, has passed away."

The distressed woman wailed, "Are you sure?"

"Yes, I am sure. The duck is dead," replied the vet.

"How can you be so sure?" she protested.. "I mean you haven't done any testing on him or anything. He might just be in a coma or something."

The vet rolled his eyes, turned around and left the room.

He returned a few minutes later with a black Labrador Retriever. As the duck's owner looked on in amazement, the dog stood on his hind legs, put his front paws on the examination table and sniffed the duck from top to bottom. He then looked up at the vet with sad eyes and shook his head.

The vet patted the dog on the head and took it out of the room.

A few minutes later he returned with a cat. The cat jumped on the table and also delicately sniffed the bird from head to foot. The cat sat back on its haunches, shook its head, meowed softly and strolled out of the room.

The vet looked at the woman and said,
"I'm sorry, but as I said, this is most definitely, 100% certifiably, a dead duck."

The vet turned to his computer terminal, hit a few keys and produced a bill, which he handed to the woman.
The duck's owner, still in shock, took the
bill. "$150!" she cried, "$150 just to tell me my duck is dead!"

The vet shrugged, "I'm sorry.. If you had just taken my word for it, the bill would have been $20, but with the Lab Report and the Cat Scan, it's now $150."

You know when people are bad at telling jokes and they explain the punchline way too much? I feel like this joke does exactly that. Oh well. At least Grammie thought it was funny.

First Post!

Hey everyone! This is my new blog, Forwards from Grammie, where I post up all the ridiculous, funny, bizarre, offensive things my grandma has sent me! Since e-mail is the only electronic thing my grandma knows how to use besides the occasional toaster, she has apparently found great pleasure in forwarding stupid emails that she gets from god-knows-who in e-mail-land. I have quite a few saved up so I will be picking selections from those and then updating you with more recent ones. Thanks for reading!

So either Grammie has forgotten that I am now in college, or she thinks I'm way older and have kids or something. I did find it kind of funny though, especially the one with Clyde and the dog.
